Never would've thought that the Magic would actually match the offer sheet that Dallas offered Marcin Gortat.
That other time when I mentioned he was getting a 5 yr. deal worth $34M, didn't know that the Magic were that desperate for a talent like Gortat; hey, maybe I'm wrong, and maybe Orlando was wrong as well giving him up in the first place.
The Magic weren't probably getting anywhere with trying to grab a person to fill for Gortat's abrupt absence with the team, so their next idea was pretty much, 'Hey, we need Marcin back!'
And of course, the Mavs were glad to oblige.
